Allen Blackwell is the owner of Blackwell, Self Care Solutions and is a highly experienced massage therapist based in Newport News, Virginia. Allen is a very humble, down-to-earth professional who is passionate about helping others and truly loves his job.

Allen began his massage career in 2011, but if you asked his family they would tell you it started much earlier. Since he was young, he has enjoyed helping people with pain relief through massage. As a child, Allen could often be found giving his mom or sister a massage. He knew that helping people feel better was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Allen followed his passion for helping others into his college experience and became an ECPI graduate specializing in reflexology and warm stone therapy. In 2015, he launched his own massage business and has been helping people prioritize their self-care needs ever since.

Blackwell Self-Care is located in the Oyster Point section of Newport News in the heart of the Peninsula. We are right off the interstate (J. Clyde Morris Blvd. Exit) very close to City Center. Here’s our address:
